Africa Finance Corporation engages with Nordic investors at the inaugural Nordic-African Business webcast

Africa Finance Corporation (“AFC” or “the Corporation”), a leading infrastructure solutions provider in Africa, today announces it will co-host the Nordic-African Business Webcast, in partnership with the Nordic Africa Business Association (“NABA”).

The focus of the Summit shall be on connecting Nordic and African business communities to further develop investment visibility across the African continent with notable participation from over 30 speakers, 4 plenary sessions, 12 parallel sessions and a virtual space for ample networking opportunities.

AFC’s participation in the Summit shall see the Corporation’s President & CEO presiding over the opening session alongside the:H.E. H.E. Ine Eriksen Søreide – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Norway; Dr. Amani Abou-Zei- Commissioner for Infrastructure and Energy, African Union Commission; Mr. Raymond Carlsen – CEO, Scatec Solar.

AFC will also participate in a plenary session on the topic: “Is the global supply chain realignment one of global crisis or local opportunity?”, alongside notable panellists Oliver Andrews, Chief Investment Officer, AFC; Sir Paul Collier, Professor of Economics,University of Oxford, and Jens Thomassen, CEO of AP Capital.

Finally, AFC will lead and partnership and investment engagement session where the Corporation will showcase its business model and innovative de-risked approach, followed by a round table discussion led by Sanjeeve Gupta, Executive Director AFC
